- HELLO! This Blog is dedicated to my two sons DEMETRIUS FLENORY known as "BIG MEECH" and TERRY FLENORY known as "SOUTHWEST T". I have created this Blog to get an insight on peoples positive thoughts about my Sons and the Book that tells somewhat some of their story. There have been many things said about these two men who are not publicly able to speak for themselves and as we very well know there are two sides to every story. Yet,it seems when you have been found guilty of a crime there is only the Judgemental side people choose to hear. So i have chosen to start this Blog hoping to open the line of communication with other Mothers, Fathers, Sisters, Brothers, Sons, and Daughters who may want to share your thoughts or issues you may be having with a incarcerated love one. I would like to express this sincere thought with you all " RIGHT OR WRONG, GOOD OR BAD, THEY ARE MY TWO SONS, AND I LOVE THEM AND WILL LOVE THEM FOREVER". ALWAYS REMEMBER "GOD WILL NEVER TAKE YOU WHERE HIS STRENGTH WILL NOT KEEP YOU". MY SINCERE THANKS TO YOU ALL!
IT HAS BEEN ON MY HEART TO SPEAK ON FATHER'S DAY THAT WAS JUST LAST WEEK. FIRST OF ALL "HAPPY FATHER'S DAY" TO ALL THE FATHERS. THIS,I KNOW IS A BELATED GREETING TO ALL OF THOSE WHO MAY READ THIS. I HAVE TALK TO SOME OF MY SONS WHO ARE INCARCERATED, BUT, I WAS NOT ABLE TO GET ANY GREETING CARDS OR LETTERS OUT THIS YEAR TO THEM. WE DO KNOW THAT EVERYDAY IS FATHERS DAY, AS IS EVERYDAY IS MOTHERS DAY. THIS IS JUST A DAY SET ASIDE TO CELEBRATE THEM, THIS YEAR ,FATHER'S DAY & MEECH'S BIRTHDAY, HAS BEEN DIFFICULT FOR (US) MY SON'S THAT ARE IN PRISON & OUR FAMILIES OUT HERE TO CELEBRATE. AS ONE PERSON'S COMMENT SAYS " A FAMILY THAT PRAYS TOGETHER STAYS TOGETHER". WE ....ARE THAT FAMILY. I,TRULY BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF PRAYER AND ENCOURAGE MY FAMILY IN PRISON AND ALL OF US THAT ARE NOT, TO TRUST GOD ALWAYS, STAY PRAYERFUL AND STAY STRONG. WE... WILL GET THROUGH THIS WITH GOD'S HELP. WHEN OUR BURDENS GETS SO HEAVY AND THEY SEEM TO HARD TO BARE GIVE IT TO GOD. FOR, HE WILL BE OUR "FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND" CARRYING US ALL THE WAY.
